Tomato grafting is a cultivation technique adopted in recent years. After grafting, tomato has the advantages of disease resistance, drought resistance, barren resistance, low temperature resistance, good growth, long fruiting period, early maturity and high yield.
Installing the tomato grafting clips is pretty easy, but there are a few things to consider.
First, the clip should be placed on the correct part of the plant. Tomato clips can be placed in the stem of the plant, just below the leaves. The place under the leaf is often referred to as the Y-joint, so the most efficient location for tomato clips is the Y-joint. Tomato clips can also be used on other parts of the plant, depending on the situation.
To install, simply attach tomato clips to nets, twine trellis, or plant ladders and supports, then gently close around the plant stem. Use different numbers of clips according to plant growth.
Plastic tomato clips features:
(1)Connect plants to trellis twine quickly and easily.
(2)Saves time and labor over other trellising methods.
(3)Aired clip promotes better ventilation and helps prevent Botrytis fungus.
(4)Quick-release feature allows clips to be moved easily and to be saved and reused for multiple crops throughout a growing season, up to one year.
(5)For melon, watermelon, cucumber, tomato, pepper, eggplant grafts.
